Bayern Munich Soccer Club of Kansas City

Ricky Olivares, our Director of Coaching, comes to KC Bayern Munich Soccer Club with a wide variety of experiences and study under some very respected local coaches in the soccer world. Ricky played collegiate soccer at St. Mary's College in Leavenworth, Kansas. Olivares was a member of the 1987 Teams USA Midwest Select soccer team and he spent over a month in Europe touring with the team. Olivares' coaching experience includes the following:



 

 

• Assistant Coach to Fatai Ayode with the Kansas City Attack Soccer Club
• Assistant Coach to Jeremy McElduff with the Kansas City Attack and FC Rangers Soccer Club
• Staff Coach with the Kansas City United Soccer Club
• Director of Coaching for the KC Bayern Munich Soccer Club
• Head coach for U9, U11, U16, U17, and U18 girls teams at the KC Bayern Munich Soccer Club
• Maintains a National Youth License through US Youth Soccer
• Assistant Coach to Coach Preki with FC Rangers Soccer Club 

Since 1999, Olivares has been the Youth Development Manager for youth programs at the Guadalupe Center in Kansas City, Missouri, and he oversees all in-school and after-school sports programs as well as the athletic programs.
