The Bayern Munich Pumas rolled into their first Spring tournament with a bang.  The Pumas started their weekend against KC Strikers Raiders and dominated in a 2-0 victory. On Saturday, the Pumas next victim was FC Roar. The Pumas overcame injuries and fatigue for the 1-0 win.  On Sunday, the third game against the Ravens would prove to be just as tough as the first two games. With another Puma victory of 2 – 0, the Pumas earned the right to advance to the championship game.  In the Championship,  the Pumas faced a familiar foe, the KCFC Pumas. Last Fall, in the Governor’s Cup, KCFC beat the Bayern Pumas 2-1. In League play, the Bayern Pumas took it to KCFC with a 3 – 0 victory. This Championship game was sure to be nail biter. The Bayern Pumas struggled early in the first half and were down 2-0 before they regained their composure and began attacking the KCFC goal. The Bayern Pumas continued their attack in the second half and found a way to tie the game at the end of regulation play.  With the game tied, both teams headed into penalty kicks. KCFC started with their first two shoots high over the goal. Bayern Pumas started with a goal and a miss which would eventually be the difference as both teams made the remainder of their goals, and thus, confirm the Bayern Munich Pumas as champions of the KC Champions Cup 2010. Congratulation, Bayern Pumas!!!
