Tryout Procedure
- All players must report to sign in tent for registration at their appropriate time to complete a player registration form, if the player has not registered online.
- Admin staff will direct players to their assigned field.
- The admin staff/managers will bring the forms to the coaches.
- Players will be expected to bring water, wear shin guards, and soccer cleats.
- A team coach will address all players before tryout. The coach will describe what will occur during the tryout process including the evaluation process, the participation process, and the notification process for tryouts. Elements under evaluation include: individual skills, tactics, team participation skills, attitude, and team contribution.
- Each player will be assigned a numbered penny. The player will retain that number for each of the tryout sessions.
- Individuals will be chosen to lead group warm ups. Perform group warm ups.
- Coaches conduct tryouts.
- A team coach will address players and parents, post tryout.
- Some player decisions/offers will be made prior to tryouts, following any of the tryouts, or following the final tryout.
- After receiving an offer, a player must inform the team coach of their decision immediately (unless otherwise agreed upon with that team coach).
- Final offers will be made by 10PM on the night of the final tryout for that age group. The team coach will contact only the players receiving offers for the respective team.
- All 2008/2009 KC Bayern Munich players will receive a call from a Bayern Munich representative regarding whether or not they have made a team.
