Player Development
Structured player development is an important component in the KC Bayern Munich experience. From U7 to U19, a KC Bayern player is encouraged to grow and contribute. KC Bayern blends their coaching philosophy, evaluation process, and player development strategy to develop our players. Players and teams are advanced based on their progression in these areas. Skills, tactics, and mental capabilities are examples of progression areas which must advance in unison. It does little good to teach advanced ball movements if a player does not know how or is terrified to receive the ball. Whether developing a U8 or a U18 player, the strategy for development is the same. Break down the skill or tactic into simple components and then combine those components into an integrated movement which the player and/or team can understand and apply. Repetition is considered key to applying a skill or tactic so the lessons for many of these integrated movements will be repeated again and again.
