Bayern Munich Announces Camp and Tryout Schedules

Bayern Munich is proud to present their Bayern Summer Camp and Tryout schedules.  This year, Bayern Summer Camp will feature a skills camp for U7 to U15 girls and boys. The best part of all, the Bayern Camp is FREE.  The first 100 athletes will receive a free T-shirt. Bayern Camp will begin at 6:00 pm on May 29th and complete on May 31st.   Come on out and enjoy the fun!  Click on the  below for more information.

For the Fall of 2012, Bayern will be featuring U7, U9, U10, U12, U13, U14, and U15 boys and girls teams.  Tryouts will be held for each of these teams. For more information, click on the link below. You asked for it. Bayern Soccer Camp is here again and once again, its free. Come join in on the fun and learn some soccer skills along the way. You'll be part of the same Bayern Munich environment that placed 11 girls in Olympic Development Programs (ODP) this year.

Bayern Munich Open Tryouts will be held during the week of June 4th. The schedules are posted. If you do not see your team schedule yet, please check back as coaches are updating their schedules daily. If you are unable to make an Open Tryout, you may contact the Coaching Director to set up an appointment for an individual tryout. Thanks for your interest in Bayern Munich!

Bayern Munich Blitz Brings Home A Mother's Day Gift!

Bayern Munich Blitz brought home a special Mothers Day gift with a tourney win in the 2012 Mother’s Day Classic.  Blitz was the reigning champ so they were sure to be tested during this year’s tournament.  Blitz started off slow with two 0 – 0 ties.  Allowing no goals proved to be enough to place Blitz in the semi-finals where Blitz opened the floodgates. They scored 5 goals and allowed 0 against Omaha Elite. Blitz faced Azteca 99 in the Championship game.  Blitz proved once again that they would not be denied a title win. Blitz won 5 – 1.  Tournament tally works out to 10 goals scored and only 1 goal allowed for the four games. Congratulations Bayern Munich Blitz!

Bayern Munich Welcomes The Byron Alvarez Striker Academy

Bayern Munich Soccer Club is proud to introduce the Byron Alvarez Striker Academy. Byron’s Academy is considered second to none. Byron is well qualified to instruct others regarding the fine art of scoring. Byron played internationally for four years before coming to the United States to play professional soccer. In 2002, he signed with the MetroStars of Major League Soccer, now the New York Red Bulls. In 2003, he joined the Portland Timbers where he played for four seasons. Byron began his indoor career in 2004 playing for the Chicago Storm and the Monterrey La Raza. He was voted the 2008-2009 NISL Most Valuable Player. Byron joined the Missouri Comets in 2010. Byron was team captain in 2011, was named the 2010-2011 MISL MVP, and named to the All-MISL First Team. Byron led the league with 33 goals.

The Byron Alvarez Striker Academy provides the following features:

  • Individual, small group, or team striker training
  • One time, weekly, bi-weekly, and long term training
  • Instruction on striking, 1v1, and dribbling
  • Strategies for individual and joint positioning, tactical approaches, and off-the-ball deception
Unlike other academies, Byron leads each of his instructional academies. Unlike other instructors, when Byron commits to an hour, he provides an hour. If you are looking for top notch instruction, the Byron Alvarez Striker Academy is for you.
