U9 Blitz - Finalist Again!

Coming off a successful Governor's Cup, the U9 Blitz set out to carry home another trophy from the Midwest Mother's Day Classic. Blitz came out of pool play with the most points and set the stage to face second place points finisher, KC Select Storm Blue. Blitz had defeated KC Select Storm Blue 4 - 2 earlier in the day and the rematch was sure to be a shootout. The event lived up to its billing as both teams traded goal for goal up until the end of the game with KC Select coming out on top this time 7 - 5. Nice job, Blitz! Two trophies in two weekends.
